Special Broadcast Previews President Bush’s Trip to India

VOA presented a special program for Headlines Today, the popular English-language news channel associated with India’s TV Today Network (TVTN).

The one-hour broadcast, originating from studios in the United States and India, featured guest analysts discussing President Bush’s trip and U.S.-India relations. In Washington, guests included Karl Inderfurth, former Assistant U.S. Secretary of State for South Asian Affairs and now Director of George Washington University’s Graduate Program in International Affairs; and Walter Andersen, Associate Director of South Asia Studies at The Johns Hopkins University and recently retired as chief of the U.S. State Department’s South Asia Division in the Office of Analysis for the Near East and South Asia.

In India, Headlines Today anchor Rahul Kanwal hosted prominent Indian analysts.
