Sanford Ungar

VOA's 24th director, Sanford "Sandy" Ungar, came to VOA at a time of change and tight budgets - as former parent organization, the U.S. Information Agency, was abolished and the Broadcasting Board of Governors took charge. He says he always felt privileged to work with VOA's talented international staff.
