Manchester Trade is a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm specializing in international trade issues, business advisory services, and the resolution of cross-border trade problems. Nigeria is one of Africa’s most mineral-rich countries, with deposits of natural gas, petroleum, tin, iron ore, and coal, among other resources. Bayelsa State, a major oil and gas producing area, contributes more than 30% of Nigeria’s oil production.
