Voice of America Director David S. Jackson released the following statement: "The decision to drop all charges against five Voice of America journalists is a correct one. We have always maintained that these charges were without merit. The employees, who are all American citizens working in Washington, D.C., will continue to bring accurate and objective news and information to our audience in Ethiopia, as they have always done."
