Carly Rae Jepsen rocketed to fame with her single, Call Me Maybe
. The video’s had more than 400 million views on YouTube since its release in 2011.
When she sat down recently with Larry London, she credited a tweet from Justin Bieber for kickstarting her career.
“With that one simple tweet all of a sudden fans in Germany, Japan, and places I had yet to visited, knew my name and were listening to my song” Carly Rae told Larry, who caught up with her recently at a private DC event for former President Clinton’s Foundation, where she was scheduled to perform.
The pop star just wrapped up a tour with Justin Bieber, but is heading back out soon for her own worldwide tour, with performances in countries including Japan and Indonesia.

interview, the multi-talented singer pointed out that with everything she is able to undertake in this business, she enjoys songwriting the most.
