Eric currently serves as Acting Director for VOA’s South and Central Asia division. Past appointments include Program Manager for the South and Central Asia division from June 2007 to September 2019, Acting Director for the South and Central Asia division from July 2014 to April 2015, Acting Director for the Latin America Division from April 2015 to September 2015 and Program Manager for VOA’s Urdu Service from November 2003 to June 2007. Prior to accepting a career position with VOA, he served as a contractor announcer with VOA Europe from 1987 to 1997. Eric has also held a number of different positions with various media organizations in the Washington – Baltimore region between 1997 and 2003.
