VOA Serbian broadcasts to more than 10 million Serbs in Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Macedonia. The service continues to be the leading international broadcaster in the area, seen as a respected source of objective and accurate information about the region, the United States and the world.

Programs and Features

Open Studio – A daily 30-minute TV news and information program that provides wide-ranging coverage of developments in Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro and the wider Balkan region. Open Studio regularly hosts newsmakers from the United States and the region. A major focus of programming is on democratic consolidation and ethnic reconciliation.

In addition to its full-length TV show, VOA Serbian provides live, interactive reports to TV Montenegro on U.S.-Montenegrin relations and developments in the U.S. on Mondays. The service also provides special reports for Belgrade-based N1 TV on science, technology, and medicine, on Wednesdays; and on politics and society in the United States, on Thursdays. The service added a regular weekly special report on topics from the U.S. for the Serbian public service broadcaster RTS, on Thursdays.

VOA Serbian also does special ad hoc live reports, via LiveU technology, for both TV Montenegro and N1 TV. The service offers live-streaming and on-demand versions of its television show on both web site and Facebook.
