Millions of young people around the world are undereducated, underemployed and living in poverty. These conditions are making them potential targets for extremist groups. This demographic makes up more than half of the world’s population. For some, economic uncertainty is leading to disillusionment with established leaders and institutions.

The Voice of America invites you to attend a town hall discussion with international young leaders from six countries, including the grandson of Nelson Mandela. The panelists will address critical issues such as economic opportunities, terrorism, and political participation for the next generation.

The latest developments on the Korean peninsula and renewed diplomacy between the U.S. and North Korea on the nuclear issue beg the question whether Pyongyang will come out of isolation and engage with the world in a meaningful way.
